1.General

1.1 Please consult our Terms and Conditions of Sale prior to placing an order.

1.2 In this agreement "we" or "Supplier" means Liminaires Ltd, "you" means the Customer of Liminaires Ltd and the Contract means any contract between Liminaires Ltd and the Customer for the sale of goods.

1.3 The contract will only come into existence between you and Liminaires Ltd when we have received and accepted your order and have received the payment in full including delivery charges.

1.4 You have the right to cancel the contract within 5 days. Please note that cancelled orders will incur handling charges for any goods to be returned.

2. Description

2.1 The description of the goods will be as shown on the Liminaires Lighting website at the time you place your order.

2.2 We aim to list all of our products as accurately as possible, manufacturers may make modifications without notice. On occasions when what you receive is not 100% as described we will accept the return of the goods for a full refund.

2.3 The dimensions of each product are based on the information provided to us by the manufacturers but on occasions there maybe slight inaccuracies and we recommend that you do not cut holes or prepare surfaces for installation until you are in receipt of the goods and have physically checked the dimensions, as we do not accept any costs related to installation whether based on the dimensions quoted or not.

2.4 If you require any additional information such as data sheets and photometric data, these are available upon request.

2.5 All goods are subject to availability. If we anticipate an unreasonable delay on any of the items ordered we will inform you at the earliest possible opportunity and you have the option to either cancel the order for a full refund or accept the advised delivery date.

3. Payment

3.1 Liminaires Ltd guarantee that the price mentioned on the website and the invoice is the correct price however will not accept responsibility for an incorrect price due to computer errors, viruses, hacking or other unforeseen circumstances.

3.2 Payment inclusive of any delivery charges must be received by us in full before the goods can be released.

3.4 Liminaires Ltd reserves the right to adjust its prices for any increase in any cost of any kind arising for any reason after the date of the Contract.

4. Delivery

4.1 We will deliver the goods to the address of the Customer agreed at the time of purchase or other point agreed by us.

4.2 We aim to deliver the goods as soon as possible. We will inform you of any expected delays due to stock availability or otherwise but we will not accept liability any expense or damages incurred by you through delay of delivery due to any reasonable and unforeseen circumstances.

4.3 We use Royal Mail and a range of couriers for delivery and you will not be given a specific time of delivery and may require a signature depending on the service used. Usually delivery times are Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.

4.4 Goods can only be picked up from our warehouse by prior arrangement.

4.5 The risk in the Goods shall pass to the Customer on the Delivery Date

5. Damages and Shortfalls

5.1 It is the Customers responsibility to inspect the goods upon arrival and inform us of any damages and shortfalls. Claims for damages or shortages must be made within 3 days of the receipt of the goods by the customer or customers agent.

6. Returns

6.1 The Customer has the right to cancel the Contract at any time up to 5 working days providing the goods has not been used, fitted, modified and damaged in any way and provided that they can be returned in its original packaging and in a re-saleable condition.

6.2 The Customer must inform us in writing and accept the cost of repackaging and return to our address via registered means. This will incur a 20% handling charge.

6.3 Refund can only be made once the goods has been returned and following inspection.

6.4 Liminaires Ltd reserve the right to refuse or return any returned goods that fail to comply with above.

7. Installation

7.1 All fixtures purchased from us with the exception of portable light fittings must be installed by a qualified electrician. Liminaires Ltd will not accept any liability for damages, injury or expense incurred through failure to do so as well as this will invalidate your warranty.

8. Warranty

8.1 All goods carry a 12 month warranty from the date of supply.

9. Liability

9.1 The Supplier's total liability in connection with the contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise, shall not exceed the price of the goods.

10. Force Majeure

Neither party shall have any liability under or be deemed to be in breach of this Agreement for any delays or failures in performance of this Agreement which result from circumstances beyond the reasonable control of that party.

11. Law and Jurisdiction

The Contract shall be subject to English law and the English courts will have jurisdiction in respect of any arising dispute.

Privacy Policy

Please note that any personal information you provide may be used by Liminaires Lighting or our agents for the purpose of customer/client Administration as defined by the Data Protection Act 1998

Liminaires Lighting respects your privacy.

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your personal data with any other organisation
